As the regular season winds down, the Northwood-Kensett girls’ basketball team is looking for something positive upon which it can build some momentum heading into the playoffs.
The Vikings may have found that something Monday night against West Fork.
Senior Mackenzie Costello scored a career high 24 points in a 57-48 win for the Vikings.
Costello went 9-12 from the field and 6-6 from the free throw line to lead the Vikings to their seventh win of the season.
Terran Haberman scored 13 points and Laura Hopperstad added nine for Northwood-Kensett.
It will play at Central Springs tonight.
