Vikings softball unable to find clutch hits

One rally was all the Northwood-Kensett softball team could muster Wednesday against Nashua-Plainfield in a 6-3 loss in Northwood.
The Vikings (1-13, 0-9 Corn Bowl) came back to tie the game 3-3 in the bottom of the third after having a 1-0 lead in the first, but the Huskies came back for three runs in the fourth for the win.
Megan Fonly hit a two-run homer in the third to tie the game.
Northwood-Kensett had six hits in the game, but left nine runners on base.
