2 arrested after domestic incidents

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jeremy Kent Posey, 38, after a domestic incident was reported at 5:38 p.m. Saturday at 28517 680th Ave., outside Hartland.

Deputies reportedly arrested Derek Kevin Christensen for felony domestic assault by strangulation and on a local warrant at 11:05 a.m. Sunday at 15322 745th Ave., outside Glenville.

1 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Luis Angel Estrada, 19, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and a controlled substance violation during a traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Abbott Street and Summer Avenue. At the scene, police cited Joshua Frank Hruza, 19, for illegal consumption.

2 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Amber Lynn Tasker, 37, on a local warrant at 5:58 p.m. Friday at 79928 255th St., outside Albert Lea.

Police arrested Gary Wyman Kostohryz, 30, on a local warrant after disorderly conduct was reported at 3:44 p.m. Friday at 201 W. Main St.

5 cited for violations

Deputies cited Kajsa Ann Stadheim, 18, and a juvenile for underage drinking after a liquor law violation was reported at 11:31 p.m. Friday at 22319 Minnesota Highway 13. At the scene, deputies cited Nickolas Steven Vogt, 18, for underage drinking and social host violation.

Police cited Nyapuot David Ruei, 19, for first-degree criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, obstructing or interfering with a police officer and illegal consumption after a liquor law violation was reported at 12:51 a.m. Sunday at 905 S. Third Ave. At the scene, police cited Gabriel John Minear.

Thefts, fraud reported

Police cited three people for theft after a theft was reported at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 2610 Bridge Ave.

Someone reported being scammed out of $2,500 on Craigslist at 12:47 p.m. Saturday at 33734 Freeborn County Road 45, outside Ellendale.

Someone reportedly took $60 worth of lottery tickets at 8:38 p.m. Sunday at 309 E. Main St., Clarks Grove.

A theft was reported at 8:19 a.m. Friday at 902 Abbott St.

Internet fraud was reported at 6:49 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Assaults reported

An assault was reported at 3:34 p.m. Friday at 207 S. Fifth Ave.

An assault was reported at 12:21 p.m. Sunday at 2510 Bridge Ave.

A domestic assault was reported at 8:10 p.m. Sunday at 602 Minnesota Ave. The suspect reportedly fled the scene prior to officer arrival.
