Car crashes into building
A vehicle reportedly crashed into the Shady Oaks building, 800 S. Fourth Ave., at 4:10 a.m. today. No injuries were reported, and minor damage was sustained to the building. The vehicle was towed.
3 arrested on warrants
Albert Lea police arrested Michael Lee Schwebach, 27, on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant and for a fifth-degree possession felony during a traffic stop at 3:41 p.m. Monday at the intersection of East Second Street and South Newton Avenue.
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Larry Loving Jr., 24, on a local warrant at 9:09 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway.
Deputies arrested Greydon David Wendt, 29, on a local warrant at 11:30 a.m. Monday at 308 E. William St. An order for protection was served.
1 cited for drug violation
Police cited Jayme Dean Anderson, 21, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 4:27 a.m. today at the intersection of South Fourth Avenue and West Front Street.
Thefts reported
An account was reported hacked into at 12:15 p.m. Monday at 323 Willamor Circle. Loss was established at $1,000, and charges were made online.
Items were reported stolen from a residence in the last week at 1:57 p.m. Monday at 202 Adams Ave.
A theft involving a purse was reported at 9:10 p.m. Monday at 1550 Blake Ave.
