3 arrested for drunken driving
Albert Lea police arrested Kathleen Mae Babcock, 61, on two counts of second-degree driving while intoxicated after an intoxicated person was reported at 8:50 a.m. Friday at 143 W. Clark St.
Police arrested Juan Francisco Gallegos Padilla, 36, for second-degree driving while intoxicated, gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation and misdemeanor domestic assault after an assault was reported at 3:04 a.m. Saturday at 820 Happy Trails Lane.
Police arrested James Bernhard Willner, 34, for third-degree driving while intoxicated and second-degree test refusal during a traffic stop at 9:44 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Main Street and South Newton Avenue. Willner was also arrested for having more than a .08 blood-alcohol content within two hours.
Injury traffic crash reported
An crash with unknown injuries was reported at 9:19 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Marshall Street. At the scene, police cited Alexander Matthew Fluth, 18, for failure to yield.
1 arrested on warrant
Police arrested Rodolfo Valdez, 19, on a Department of Corrections warrant after an assault in progress was reported at 2:23 a.m. Sunday at 423 Court St.
1 arrested in traffic stop
Police arrested Craig Michael Spangler, 48, during a traffic stop at 12:55 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Main Street and South First Avenue.
Burglary reported
A burglary was reported at 9:09 a.m. Monday at 120 1/2 Elizabeth Ave.
Items stolen
Two people were arrested after a theft was reported at 6:09 p.m. Monday in the area of Shoe Sensation and Leland Drive. Names were not available as of press time.
A couple bottles of alcohol were reported stolen at 10:56 a.m. Friday at 1617 W. Main St. A suspect was described as a female.
A theft was reported at 10:43 a.m. Sunday at 301 W. Clark St.
A theft was reported at 5:06 p.m. Monday at 201 W. Main St.
Fight reported
A fight was reported at 3:21 p.m. Friday at 1601 W. Main St. The incident allegedly occurred on the bus.
