Owatonna police reportedly arrested Higenio Madrigal after a vehicle theft report was made

at 10:03 a.m. Tuesday at 423 Court St. Madrigal was later transported back to Freeborn County.

Albert Lea police arrested Kevin Roy Peterson, 52, for fifth-degree drug possession and disorderly conduct after a suspicious person was reported at 12:27 a.m. today at 141 S. Newton Ave.

Credit cards were reported taken at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2751 E. Main St.

Albert Lea police arrested and cited Ernest Fuentez, 61, for a harassment restraining order violation at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.

Police arrested Saengdeuan Philaphon, 46, on a Jackson County warrant during a traffic stop at 8:02 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Broadway and East Third Street.

1 cited after fight

Police cited a juvenile after a fight was reported at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Credit card machine vandalized

A credit card machine was reported vandalized at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday at 410 E. Main St. Damage was estimated between $600 and $1,000.

Check forgery case reported

Someone reportedly wrote unauthorized checks on an account at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday at 1100 S. Broadway.
