The upcoming Civil War Roundtable will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the media center of Southwest Middle School.  Larry Tonder will present “A Norwegian Soldier In the Civil War.” Unbeknownst currently to many Americans, many European immigrants who were recent arrivals in the United States, shortly before commencement of hostilities, contributed mightily on behalf of mostly Union but some for Confederate forces as well.  This presentation as always is free to the general public.
