Anissa Lynn Garcia, 31, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1986, in Oregon, Ohio, to Frank Garcia and Denise Jones.

Anissa spent her childhood and young adult years in Albert Lea before moving back to the Toledo area. Her free spirit and infectious laugh often made her the center of attention. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Music was her passion and escape, she enjoyed singing and listening to all types of music. Anissa’s great joy and source of unending love was her daughter, Arianna.

Anissa is survived by daughter, Arianna Garcia; parents Frank and Cheryl Garcia; siblings Anthony Garcia, Nicholas Garcia, David Villarreal and Jacob Villarreal; grandparents Frank Garcia and Wilma Carroll; special family friend, Jennifer Bergeson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Denise Jones; and grandmothers Ophelia Garcia and Kairen Cummings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Theodore Catholic Church. A dinner will be follow the service.
