Packers finish Tigers’ season

AUSTIN — The Albert Lea boys’ basketball team fell to Austin Wednesday night 88-39 in the first round of the Class AAA Section 1 playoffs, finishing the team’s 2016-17 season.

The Tigers finish the year with a 0-27 record overall.

Austin will play Byron in the next round of playoff action at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rochester Civic Center.
