Injury crash reported

An injury rollover traffic crash was reported at 3:50 a.m. today on the northbound lanes of Interstate 35, south of Clarks Grove. CPR was reportedly in progress. One person was able to leave the vehicle while another was trapped. Look to the Tribune for more information as it becomes available.

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Steven Arthur Schmidt, 40, on a local warrant during a traffic stop at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Southeast Broadway Avenue and Margaretha Ave. Schmidt was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Tobacco violation reported

A tobacco violation was reported at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.
