Project: Preserving the history of Freeborn County

Report: The Freeborn County Historical Museum, Library and Village received $11,630 from the Kenneth W. Olson Charitable Foundation Fund of the Freeborn County Community Foundation.

According to a press release, the funds will be used to purchase archival textile boxes, continuing to catalog the museum’s archives, enhance exhibits to include up-to-date technology and help support the annual Discovery History days.

The continued support from the foundation makes it possible for the organization preserve history for generations to come.
