Ellendale church to host Easter event

First Lutheran Church in Ellendale will present “Living Lord’s Supper” with Holy Communion at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. The disciples are Ross Sletten (Andrew), Arlen Brekke (James the Elder), Dan Carroll (Matthew), Larry Jensen (Thomas) Jerry Thompson (John), Jack Harpel (Philip), Jeff Schmidt (James the Younger), Victor Mrotz (Thadeus), Andrew Braaten (Peter), Rod Goette (Judas), Russ Goete (Simon) and Kevin Hamor (Nathaniel). Kyle Smith will play Jesus and the narrator is the Rev. RIchard Sliper. Nate Jensen will sing “In the Upper Room.” Norrine Jensen is the coordinator/director. Barb Mrotz, Ginger Thompson and Rea Sliper are assisting with costumes and props. Larry Jensen is in charge of the sound system. - Provided
