Two Albert Lea residents were injured in a rollover crash Monday on Interstate 90 in Freeborn County.

Tellez Agustin Valentin, 23, and Emily Eileen Brazil, 22, both suffered injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Valentin was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Brazil was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. 

Valentin was driving a 2004 Pontiac Vibe west on I-90 when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll shortly before 7 p.m. in Hayward, the report states. Roads were wet at the time of the crash.

Valentin and Brazil were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the report states.
