Grandfather got Albert Lea High School junior into golf
Q: What grade are you in?
A: 11th.
Q: What town do you live in, and which school do you attend?
A: Albert Lea, Albert Lea High School.
Q: Who is your immediate family?
A: Father, mom, older brother and sister.
Q: Which sports do you play?
A: Hockey and golf.
Q: What is your favorite part of golf?
A: Hitting a long drive and club twirling it.
Q: What has golf taught you?
A: How to bounce back after a bad shot/hole.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Scoring a goal to tie the game with two minutes left against Rochester Lourdes. Then scoring the game-winner in overtime my freshman year.
Q: How did you get started in golf?
A: My grandpa introduced me to golf.
Q: What sports did your family members play?
A: Hockey, soccer, football, tennis and swimming.
Q: What are your sports-related achievements?
A: Playing varsity hockey my freshman year. Going to state for golf last year. Most goals sophomore year on varsity.
Q: What are your sports-related goals?
A: Go to state in my final three high school sports seasons; so golf this year, next hockey season and next golf season.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?
A: Sidney Crosby. He scores a lot of goals and is always in the right spot on the ice.
Q: What are your college plans? Major?
A: Undecided where I want to go to college, but I am going to major in business.
Q: What is your favorite school subject?
A: History.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: Mr. Jeffrey.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Fishing, boating and hanging out with friends.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Start my own business.
Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: “Family Guy.”

A: I’m left-handed in every sport.
