EDEN PRAIRIE — Police said a person of interest has been taken into custody in the investigation of the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were discovered in a Eden Prairie residence.

Authorities said officers were called to the home about 7:30 a.m. Thursday for welfare check after the man failed to show up for work. The victims have not been identified.

Investigators identified a 38-year-old man as a person of interest associated with the residence due to several 911 calls over the past decade. Police are not looking for any other suspects in the case.
