Man cited for drunken driving

Raul Alfredo Gaytan, 26, was reportedly cited for third-degree driving under the influence at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of South Broadway and West Ninth Street. Police also reportedly found more than 1.4 grams of marijuana in the vehicle.

Thefts reported

A gold class ring and silver-plated tray were reported stolen at 11:29 a.m. Tuesday at 215 Main St. in Hartland. A suspect was reported.

At least five American flags were reported stolen at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday from a cemetery at 28682 653rd Ave. in Freeborn. The flags had been taken sometime since Memorial Day.

A trailer was reported stolen at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday at 801 E. 12th St.

House broken into

A house was reported broken into at 1:27 p.m. Tuesday at 214 E. Fourth St.

Child bit by dog

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday of a 3-year-old child who had been bitten by a dog in Clarks Grove.

Woman cited for shoplifting

Sonya Renee Hernandez, 34, was cited for misdemeanor theft after reportedly shoplifting at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday at 2708 Bridge Ave.
