Patricia Peterson, 1936-2017

Memorial services for Patricia L. Peterson of Albert Lea will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the West Freeborn Lutheran Church rural Albert Lea. The Rev. Steve Schwartz will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the West Freeborn Cemetery.
Patricia died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 80.
Patricia was born July 4, 1936, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Reynold Pederson and Avis Hanson. She attended Albert Lea Public Schools. She was united in marriage to Harvey Reb, who died at an early age. She was then married to Donald R. Peterson. Patricia lived in Austin for many years, moving back to Albert Lea in 1987. She had been employed for a time at Land-O-Lakes then with Tyson Foods in quality control for over 30 years retiring in 1999.
Patricia loved feeding and watching birds, yardwork, crossword puzzles and adult color books. She had a great passion for reading and loved reading her Bible.
Patricia is survived by her sons Allan Reb of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Timothy Peterson of St. Louis Park; grandchildren Jeremy Forrester, Jeremiah Reb and Sarah Reb; great-grandchildren Elijah, Josiah and Jaxson Reb; one brother, David (Nancy) Pederson of Clarks Grove; one sister, Susan (Mark) Evenson of Alden; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Harvey Reb and Donald Peterson; sons Jerome Scott Reb and Randall Reb; stepfather, Reynold Pederson; and her grandparents.
Memorials are preferred to the West Freeborn Lutheran Church handicap fund.
