At least six Albert Lea police officers responded to the Clark gas station at the intersection of Front Street and Broadway Avenue on Wednesday afternoon after receiving a call of a reported fight taking place at the convenience store with a baseball bat and a knife.
Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels said officials found both a bat and a knife at the scene, but no one was injured. There were a few punches thrown.
He said both men who were reportedly involved with the fight are giving different explanations of what happened, so he was not yet sure about the outcome of the incident.
He noted both of the men involved have had a history of disagreements with each other in the past.
