Mayo Clinic to offer grief support series

Mayo Clinic Health System’s Hospice department will offer a grief support series in Albert Lea and Austin.

According to a press release, the series is designed to address grief and the grieving process within in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Members of the Hospice team will facilitate the series and lead discussions on a variety of topics to help attendees better understand the grieving process.

In Albert Lea, participants will meet from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursdays beginning Oct. 5 at the hospice conference center at Health Reach Campus, 1705 SE. Broadway in Albert Lea. The series will continue until Nov. 9.

In Austin, participants will meet from 1:30 to 3 p.m. beginning Oct. 5 at the hospice conference room at 101 14th St. NW in Austin. The series will continue until Nov. 10.

The series is free and open to any adult who has experienced a loss of a loved one.
