1 arrested for drunken driving

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Catherine Rose Sandberg, 32, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated — drugs — and fifth-degree controlled substance possession after a suspicious person was reported at 9:39 p.m. Saturday at 1521 Elm St.

Assaults reported

Deputies arrested Thomas Robert Rosenthal, 50, for misdemeanor domestic assault at 4:35 p.m. Monday at 19258 780th Ave.

Deputies cited Chelsea Pearl Schellenberg, 27, for fifth-degree domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 2:20 p.m. Saturday at 78467 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Albert Lea.

Police arrested Jacob Joseph Cibert, 27, for disorderly conduct after a fight was reported at 6:39 p.m. Sunday at 302 E. Third St.

An ambulance for two people involved in a fight was needed after the fight was reported at 11:03 a.m. Saturday at 2011 E. Main St. One female had a contusion to her forehead, and the second person reportedly had multiple cuts.

An assault report was made at 4:26 p.m. Friday at McDonald’s, 609 E. Main St.

1 cited for marijuana possession

Police cited Beau Andrew Gardner, 20, for possessing a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop at 9:51 p.m. Friday at the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East 14th Street.

Items stolen, damaged

Approximately $500 in damage was reported after car doors were open on two vehicles at 3:56 a.m. Friday at 1203 Plainview Lane. A rear window was reported broken with a rock at 4:16 a.m. that morning at the same address. Damage was estimated at $150.

A theft of a ladder was reported at 2:22 p.m. Friday at 7305 225th St.

An interior garage door was reported forced open at 11 a.m. Sunday at 82165 150th St., outside Glenville. No items were reported missing.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 9:58 a.m. Friday at 900 Hammer Road.

A car was reported broken into at 12:04 p.m. Friday at 1138 Belmont St. The unlocked vehicle was entered the previous night. A wallet was taken, but it was later found in a neighbor’s backyard.

A fence post was reported bent so someone could walk through a yard at 5:50 p.m. Friday at 1713 Sheridan St.

A car window was reported smashed at 8:06 a.m. Saturday at 519 Triangle Drive.

A vehicle was reported gone through, with a  gym bag taken at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at 1207 Plainview Lane.

Storage units were reported broken into at 10:36 a.m. Saturday at 401 Pilot St. Damage to lockers was estimated at $300.

A 5-gallon gas can full of gas was reported stolen at 3:36 p.m. Saturday at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St.

An attempted theft or burglary was reported at 4:18 p.m. Saturday at 2317 Consul St.

A car was reported broken into, with items missing at 4:19 p.m. Saturday at 262 S. Pearl St. A wallet was found in an alley.

A theft report was made at 12:54 p.m. Sunday at 1820 Margaretha Ave.

Prescription pills were reported stolen at 7:28 p.m. Sunday at 803 Bridge Ave.

Two dealer plates were reported taken at 2:35 p.m. Monday at 1725 E. Main St. The incident allegedly occurred Sunday night.

Two trucks were reported vandalized at 11:12 p.m. Monday at 2200 Y.H. Hanson Ave. Two windows were reported broken.

1 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Trevor Allen Hovland on local warrants at 2:04 a.m. Sunday at 2708 Bridge Ave.

Underage drinking reported

An underage drinking party was reported at 12:59 a.m. Saturday at 511 SW First Ave, in Glenville. No citations were listed on Sheriff’s Office records.

Injury crash reported

A crash with injuries was reported at 8:12 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Front Street and South Newton Avenue. No additional details were available at press time.
