Letter: Thanks for help after recent fall

Published 8:25 pm Tuesday, September 12, 2017

I was at Walmart Sept. 5 to get a few groceries and supplies. I was trying to get the grocery cart to the register to get checked out when all of a sudden I couldn’t walk. Three ladies came to my rescue. They put me in that big wheelchair, got me checked out and one pushed me to the car and put the groceries in the trunk.

I knew I could drive home once I got set down. They were really worried about it. I can’t thank them enough for being so kind. I have met several nice, helpful people when I have been there. I will not go to Walmart anymore by myself. I am 93 years old, so I know I have to have one of my daughters go for me or take me. Thanks again, you wonderful ladies.
