The Albert Lea Area Christian events committee will bring the Tabernacle Experience to Albert Lea in 2018. According to a press release, the Tabernacle Experience is a life-size tabernacle with audio narration which takes the audience through duties and rituals within the Tabernacle with all activities pointing directly to Jesus.

In order to raise funds for the event, the Albert Lea Area Christian Events committee will host a sloppy joe dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Club in Albert Lea. The meal will consist of sloppy joes, salads, Calico beans, chips and coffee. There will also be a bake sale. Tickets are $8. For advanced tickets, call 320-5756.
