City of Albert Lea has a population of 17,667.

Taxes in both are increasing, per Tribune articles.

Save Our Hospital states that Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea serves 60,000 people.

The city and county have both pledged $35,000 to the fund for a hospital finance consultant.

Why not have the surrounding communities contribute? Each member of the county is essentially paying over a dollar, and each city member is paying around three dollars into this fund. Remind members of SOH of this when they complain about rising taxes!
