Sophie Mae Janzig

Jordan and Courtney Janzig of Alden announce the birth of a daughter, Sophie Mae Janzig. Sophie was born Aug. 18, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. She was 6 pounds, 6 ounces and 19 1/4 inches.

Grandparents are Scott and Tanya Hemmingsen of Alden and Jonathan and Tami Janzig of Wells. Great-grandparents are Mal and Colleen Prinzing of Albert Lea and Chris Albers of Alden.

Lydia Bernice McGill

Clint and Heidi McGill of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Lydia Bernice McGill. Lydia was born on Sept. 9, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester. She weighed 10 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches.

Grandparents are Larry and Janice Irvine and Karen McGill. Great-grandmother is Bernice Germain.
