Dollars for scholars

The Freeborn County Commissioners recently awarded five Freeborn County high school seniors with $500 scholarships. The scholarships were provided by Diamond Jo Casino and each student was presented with an award during the Commissioners’ regular board meeting on May 17. Freeborn County Administrator John Kluever said this was the fourth year of the program, and based on the past success, he is looking forward to a continued partnership with Diamond Jo Casino.
