Albert Lea police cited Antranette Kim Smith for a misdemeanor violation of a harassment restraining order at 5:41 p.m. Thursday at 1550 Blake Ave. 

Thefts reported

A forged check in the amount of $49.89 was reported at 1:43 p.m. Thursday at Casey’s General Store, 2222 E. Main St.

A theft report was filed at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Plaza Street.

A theft of a black and white mountain bike was reported at 4:54 p.m. Thursday at 520 Columbus Ave. The incident allegedly occurred earlier this week.

Child in need of protection reported

A Department of Human Services report of a child with bruises and scratches on the neck was reported at 5:19 p.m. Thursday in Albert Lea.

1 arrested on warrant

Police arrested Sarah Starchild Fox Martin on a Dakota County warrant during a traffic stop at 7:25 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East Fifth Street. Martin was cited for a child restraining violation and driving after suspension.
