The Wells Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a number of events, including Summer in the City, the United South Central community picnic, farmers market, Chamber Bucks, support staff luncheon and Kernel Days, which is co-sponsored with Wells Area Jaycees. Some of the chamber’s most popular annual events are right around the corner — including downtown trick-or-treating on Halloween, Vegas Night on Friday and Wells Does it Bright on Nov. 17.

It is the goal of the WACC to continually support and work to improve the community’s overall well-being, which in turn makes Wells both a great place to live and work, according to the release.
