Funeral services for Nancy TaBelle, 80, of Hollandale will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Kathleen Ulland-Klinkner will officiate. Nancy died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.

Nancy Elizabeth Larson was born Aug. 22, 1937, at her home near Hollandale, the daughter of Maurits and Annie (Dunn) Larson. Nancy grew up on the family farm. She went to country school through eighth grade and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1955. She graduated from Sioux Falls Baptist College and taught school for several years. Nancy married Donald TaBelle, and the couple later divorced. Nancy worked at Blooming Prairie Creamery for several years. She then moved to Rochester and worked for a trucking company. She had many good friends in Rochester.

Nancy is survived by cousins Lavonne Smith, Evelyn Johnson, Lloyd Dunn, Jim (Marvene) Larson, Peter (Marie) Larson, Mary Larson and Ardis Hanson. Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, John; parents Maurits and Annie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Nancy’s family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center for the love and care given to Nancy.
