1 cited after assault reported

Albert Lea police cited a juvenile boy for domestic assault after an assault allegedly took place Monday night. The assault report was filed at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday at 2323 Clayton Ave.

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Dennis Leonard Compton, 39, for misdemeanor theft and on a Hennepin County warrant after a theft in progress was reported at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St. Compton was arrested after a report of a man taking a jar of money off a counter.

Police arrested Gilberto Sanchez Jr., 43, on a local warrant and for fifth-degree drug possession at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday at 131 W. College St.

Police arrested Brett Allen Kurth, 24, on a warrant and an apprehension and detention order at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday at 404 Fountain St.

Items stolen

Threats were reported used to steal property at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday at 823 S. Fourth Ave. The alleged robbery is under investigation.

A 2006 blue Polaris 550 Classic was reported stolen at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday at 522 Prospect Ave.
