James Thomas Novak, 56, a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at his home. James was born June 13, 1961, in Albert Lea to Thomas Allen and Sara Joan (Noland) Novak. He was a high speed hardware engineer for a telecom/communications company.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Barbara; daughter, Sara; two stepdaughters, Amanda and Nicole; brother, Christopher; two sisters, Jennifer and Melissa; and four grandchildren,Amy, Paulie, Nicholas and Addy. No services are scheduled at this time.
