Where are you from?
Alden.
If from Albert Lea, which elementary school did you attend?
Sibley.
Favorite teacher of all time and why?
Mrs. Shahan and Mrs. Ness, because they have inspired me to be who I am. They are always smiling and have a positive attitude. I know that if I needed to talk to them, I can. They have both taught me to be who I am, and have respect toward others.
Favorite book/author:
“Out of my mind” by Sharon M Draper or “One for the Murphys” by Linda Mullaly Hunt.
Current/past activities, volunteer work and accomplishments:
Volleyball, figure skating, showing cattle, 4-H, piano, math masters, 4-H club historian.
What do you want to do after high school?
Go to college for elementary education — possibly kindergarten, first or second grade, or special education.
What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea?
Always strive to be your best and do your best. Be a kind and caring person. When things are hard in life, never give up. Always make the right decisions. “Everyday may not be good, but there is something good in everyday.”
