Memorial services for Pamela Jo Dorman of Albert Lea will be at 1 p.m. today at Ascension Lutheran Church of Albert Lea.

The Rev. Mark Boorsma will officiate. Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to the service today at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Pamela died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 60.

Pam was born Aug. 18, 1957 in Albert Lea, the daughter of Verlyn (Dude) and Betty (Armstrong) Helgerson. She was a graduate of Albert Lea High School in 1975.

Pam was united in marriage to Kevin Dorman in Albert Lea. She had been employed as office manager of Fairmont Opera House for many years. Pam lived in Albert Lea, Fairmont, Oregon and Idaho and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

In her free time she enjoyed card games, reading, knitting and watching old-time movies. The best times were spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Pamela is survived by her sons Eric Dorman of Albert Lea, Jeremy (Darcy) Dorman of Mankato, Ryan Dorman of Fairmont and Nathan Anderson of Minneapolis. There are four grandchildren, Nolan, Neil, Norah and Madison; one great-grandchild, Enzo; and mother, Betty Helgerson (David Tilton), of Albert Lea. Also surviving is one sister, Sandra (Paul) Gilbertson, of Backus; brothers Alan (Sheila) Helgerson of Albert Lea and David (Kathy) Helgerson of Plymouth; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Verlyn; and husband, Kevin.
