Gary Bauldry, 1947-2017

Gary Lee Bauldry of Albert Lea died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at his home. A memorial service will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion in Albert Lea.
Gary was born March 10, 1947, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the son of Cleo and Lenore (Jean) Bauldry. He attended Albert Lea High School, graduating in 1966. He was also a member of Talisman Car Club.
Gary served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 and was stationed in Korea. After the service he worked at the GM factory in Belvidere, Illinois. He then returned to Albert Lea and worked for Sorenson Brothers and the city of Albert Lea.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Zak in 1970 in Maple Island.
Gary was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Gary is survived by his sons Heath (Andrea) Bauldry and Kip (Jesi) Bauldry; grandson, Carter Behken; granddaughters Jade and Izzy Bauldry, Liliana Bauldry and Alexandra Scott; sisters Paula (Tom) Gray and Gail (Bob) Ferguson; nephew, Todd Goskeson; nieces Patience (Josh) Ceniga and Tina (Zach) Friest; several great-nieces and great-nephews; uncle, Tom Nelson; sister-in-law, Shirley Paulson; and brothers-in-law Dennis (Karen) Zak and Gary Zak.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon; in-laws Louie and Anna Zak; brother-in-law, James Paulson; sister-in-law, Kathy Zak; aunts and uncles Clint and Jeanette Hanson, Marlys and Red Jean, and Pat Nelson; and cousin, Mike Jean.
Gary will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren and family. Blessed by his memory.
