A wind chill advisory over much of southern Minnesota ended Tuesday afternoon, but don’t expect the chilly temps to get too much warmer.
According to the National Weather Service, the warmest day of the week is projected to be Thursday with a high of 11 degrees. Otherwise, the highs will be in the single digits Wednesday and Friday, though with wind chill it will still feel like 13 degrees below zero today.
Snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches are likely Wednesday night through Thursday, according to the weather agency.
Highs are expected to move back to below zero Saturday, Sunday and into the new year.
