Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Kevin Raker, 20, for a petty misdemeanor marijuana violation during a traffic stop at 6:48 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 880th Avenue.

A theft from a safe was reported at 3:53 p.m. Thursday at 1922 Keystone Drive. A suspect was identified.

Someone reported being scammed out of $1,600 from a Publishers Clearing House scam at 5:29 p.m. Thursday at 1422 Lee Ave.
