Maurice “Maury” Anderson, 89, of Edina passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018. He served as minister of music at several churches, including First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

He is preceded in death by parents Arthur and Alice Anderson.

He is survived by life partner, Thomas Olsen, of Edina; daughters Lisa Burger of Edina and Joan Anderson of Ames, Iowa; and grandson, Jackson Burger, of Edina.

A requiem liturgy celebrating the resurrection will be at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 3045 Chicago Ave. S. in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
