On Oct. 18, 2016, then President Barack Obama said that “no serious person could rig America’s elections, in part because they are so decentralized and the vast number of votes involved. There is no evidence that this has happened in the past or instances that it will happen this time. (2016 election). I would advise Mr. Trump to stop whining and go make his case to get votes.”

Well, Trump indeed made his case for votes, and was eventually elected president. Since then, the entire country has had to endlessly endure the great conspiracy theory that he somehow colluded with the Russians and stole the election from Hillary Clinton. Never mind that not one solitary shred of evidence was ever found to back any of this up. This past week, the House Intelligence Committee, after a 14-month long in-depth investigation, has found no evidence of collusion or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 elections. The entire thing has been a sham in an attempt to stifle the Trump agenda and sell the false narrative that “any day now, the smoking gun will be found and impeachment proceedings can begin against Trump.”

I have a better idea. Hillary lost. Put on your big boy or big girl pants, suck it up and move on. Spare us the constant whining and conspiracy theories. If you don’t like Trump, take him out the old fashioned way — by winning the next election. Trump is an imperfect person, trying his best to govern a heavily divided and imperfect nation. In my opinion, he has won the right to give it a shot just like Obama did.
