Robotics team competes

The Albert Lea Area Schools robotics team did ​very ​well at the U​niversity ​of Northern Iowa March 23 and 24. ​The​ team made it to the elite eight of the 61 teams competing. They faced teams from all over the Midwest and overseas. They lost in the ​semifinals to the team that won it all — an international team made of students from Brazil and Turkey.
