2 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Adam Alonzo Avelar, 35, for domestic assault and fifth-degree drug possession after a domestic incident was reported at 6:40 p.m. Friday at 2314 Doral Ave.

Police arrested Thai V. Thach, 46, for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 11:23 p.m. Sunday at 1107 Rosehill Drive.

1 arrested for drug violations

Police arrested Dilen Duke Rippentrop, 33, for fifth-degree methamphetamine possession, third-degree drug possession in a school zone, possessing a small amount of marijuana, driving after revocation and having no proof of insurance during a traffic stop at 12:41 p.m. Sunday at 205 W. William St.

 

1 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Jeremy Michael Gordon, 31, for second-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after revocation after a report of a drunken driver was made at 8:15 a.m. Sunday at 1224 St. John Ave.

 

Thefts, damage reported

Cash and food were reported missing from a concession stand building that was broken into at 7:19 a.m. Sunday at 2404 Bridge Ave.

Someone reported that approximately $30,000 was taken from that person’s bank accounts at 2:05 p.m. Friday at 1406 S. Broadway Ave.

A report of a tractor taking out poles and wire was reported at 3:52 p.m. Saturday at 72469 300th St. in the Hartland area. Loss was estimated at approximately $10,000.

Items were reported stolen at 9:23 a.m. Friday at 142 N. Broadway Ave. in Alden.

A red Giant-brand mountain bike was reported stolen at 11:41 a.m. Friday at 629 1/2 Ruble Ave. The incident reportedly occurred approximately 1 1/2 to two months ago.

About $100 of damage was reported to a fence and door from an attempted break-in to a shed at 5:56 p.m. Friday at Grace Christian Church, 501 W. College St.

A car was described as having “very minor” scratches at 8:39 a.m. Saturday at 2019 E. Main St. Damage was estimated at $200.

A Stihl weedeater valued at $150 was reported stolen from a garage at 1:27 p.m. Saturday at 615 Pillsbury Ave.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at 10:48 a.m. Sunday at 701 S. Broadway Ave.

 

5 arrested, cited after violations

Police cited Jeffrey Allen Moyer, 57, for fifth-degree assault after an assault report was filed at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at 703 E. Main St.

Police cited Natasha Manon Ludowese, 53, for possessing drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession, speeding and careless driving after a careless driving complaint was made at 5:05 p.m. Sunday on Freeborn County Road 18.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a juvenile after a juvenile problem was reported at 12:50 p.m. Saturday at 908 St. Jacob Ave.

Police cited one person after a juvenile problem was reported at 8:05 a.m. Friday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Police cited a juvenile for possessing a small amount of marijuana and possessing alcohol after drug violations were reported at 12:09 p.m. Friday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Assaults reported

A sexual assault report was filed at 7:35 p.m. Sunday in Albert Lea.

A report from an Owatonna emergency room of an assault that took place in Hollandale at around midnight Saturday was reported at 12:22 p.m. Sunday.

 

4 arrested on warrants

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Colleen Muriel Olson, 38, on a local warrant during a traffic stop at 11:53 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Southeast First Avenue and Southeast Fourth Street.

Deputies arrested Justin Charles Jean, 34, on a local warrant at 8 p.m. Saturday at 1217 St. John Ave.

Police arrested Abbie Rae Nicole Oakland after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 7:34 a.m. Friday at 2019 E. Main St.

Police arrested Jacob Steven Segura, 19, on a local warrant and for fleeing on foot after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 12:54 a.m. Saturday at 909 Janson St.
