One person was injured Saturday night after being stabbed multiple times in Northwood.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls for a stabbing at about 10:48 p.m. Saturday at 604 N. Seventh St., according to the Sheriff’s Office. Upon arriving, deputies reportedly found the victim.

The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center by Mason City ambulance after sustaining injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The incident remains under investigation, and charges are expected to be filed.
