NRHEG track and field duo finish state meet appearances

The duo of senior Ryan Hannegrefs and junior Brady Agrimson competed at the Minnesota state track and field meet on Friday and Saturday.

Hannegrefs competed in the triple jump on Friday afternoon, where he finished in ninth place with a jump of 43-10 1/2.

Agrimson also competed on Friday in the qualifying heats of the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles. He would qualify for the Saturday finals in both events, with a time of 15.5 in the 110-meter prelims and a 40.54 in the 300-meter prelims.

In the 110-meter hurdles, Agrimson qualified with the fourth best time, but moved up one spot to finish the finals in third with a time of 15.44.

In the 300-meter hurdles, he qualified with the sixth best time and would stay even at that mark, taking sixth place in the finals with  a time of 40.79.

Hannegrefs was named NRHEG’s MVP of field events and Agrimson was named the overall  team MVP.
