1 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Dallas Aaron Ball, 25, for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 9:57 p.m. Saturday at 517 E. Fourth St.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Amanda Lee Westcott, 24, for possessing drugs in a courthouse after drug violations were reported at 1:11 p.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

2 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Leonte Laray High Town, 30, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and having at least a 0.08 blood alcohol content while driving during a traffic stop at 12:25 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Main Street and Wilson Street.

Deputies arrested Adam Edward Sorum for second-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 12:10 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 90 in the area of the Freeborn County Road 22 exit.

5 arrested, cited for violations

Police arrested Jacob Joseph Cibert, 28, after a violation of an order for protection was reported at 12:18 a.m. Saturday at 902 James Ave. Cibert was also arrested for gross misdemeanor obstruction and fleeing on foot.

Police cited a juvenile for a curfew violation, tobacco possession, theft and motor vehicle tampering after a prowler was reported at 2:38 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North Ermina Avenue and Water Street.

Police cited a 16-year-old for careless driving, using a wireless communication device while driving and tobacco use after a two-vehicle injury crash was reported at 12:09 a.m. Saturday at 2021 S.E. Marshall St.

Police cited Denzel Taju Acha, 20, and a juvenile for underage drinking after a liquor law violation was reported at 1:05 a.m. Thursday at 316 Winter Ave.

Thefts reported

A report of a garage being broken into was made at 9:42 a.m. Sunday at 410 Water St. A 6-gallon gas can with a red plastic spout valued at $25 was taken.

Items were reported stolen at 2 p.m. Sunday at Countryside Inn Motel, 2102 E. Main St.

A Mad Gear Pro scooter with black bars, a gray deck and purple grips was reported stolen out of a vehicle at 12:34 p.m. Saturday at 615 Pillsbury Ave. The scooter is valued at $120.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at 1:09 p.m. Saturday at 112 On Broadway,  112 S. Broadway Ave.

A theft in the amount of $18.86 was reported at 1:39 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The suspect’s identity was unknown.

A Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services report of a theft of services was reported at 10:16 a.m. Thursday at 133 W. William St.

Child abuse/neglect reported

A Department of Human Services child abuse/neglect report was filed at 3:36 p.m. Thursday.

Exposer reported

An exposer was reported at 9:51 a.m. Friday at MarketPlace Foods,  1619 W. Main St.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Nyayul David Gash, 21, on a local warrant after disorderly conduct was reported at 1:14 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St.

Police arrested Esperanza Marie Pena, 21, on a Steele County warrant after a suspicious person was reported at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Sixth Street and St. Joseph Avenue.
