1 arrested for violation

Albert Lea police arrested Valerie Dawn Madrigal, 46, for a harassment restraining order violation after a violation was reported at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday at 2009 Capital Lane.

 

Thefts reported

A 2006 Sandpiper camper was reported broken into while in storage at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday at 2610 Hi Tec Ave. A foldable hammock, lanterns, license plate and other items were reported stolen. Loss was estimated at approximately $300. The incident allegedly occurred within the last month.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported taken at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at 2717 Bridge Ave.

A theft report was filed at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday at Liquor Depot, 606 S. Broadway Ave. The incident allegedly occurred Sunday. Video was taken of the incident.

Candy and a french fry cutter were reported taken from a food cart at Hayek Field at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday at 1215 W. Clark St.

 

1 arrested for drug possession

Police arrested Cassandra Lou Westcott, 19, for fifth-degree drug possession during a traffic stop at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Lakeview Boulevard and Crescent Avenue.
