The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, and citizens of Albert Lea and the surrounding communities will line our streets to enjoy our annual Third of July parade.

Through its GiveAKidAFlagToWave service program, the Albert Lea Exchange Club will once again distribute American flags to parade watchers. Club members will go out ahead of the parade so that people can wave their flags proudly as the military units and the Grand Marshal go by.

We wish to give special thanks to Freeborn-Mower’s Operation Round-Up, Cloverleaf Lions Club and the American Legion Auxiliary for their donations toward this project.
