The National Alliance on Mental Illness Minnesota will host conversation on grassroots mental health organizing, a recap of prior legislative sessions and how the community can leverage new state dollars to develop the mental health resources needed at the local level. This free training will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Freeborn County Courthouse, at 411 S. Broadway. Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag lunch. To register, call 651-645-2948.
