1 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Devyn Willard Malder Stordahl, 21, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, having a .08 blood-alcohol content within two hours and driving the wrong way on a roadway after a careless driving complaint was filed at 1:54 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 90, near the Highway 13 exit.

7 arrested, cited for violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Weston William Zuehl, 35, for gross misdemeanor obstruction, fleeing on foot and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation after a suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:47 p.m. Friday at 77674 235th St.

Police arrested Eric Paul Mathison, 42, for a drug violation after a check on welfare was requested at 2 a.m. Sunday at 1712 Eberhart St.

Deputies cited two juveniles for possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession during a traffic stop at 11:21 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Freeborn County Road 17 and 690th Avenue.

Police cited a 16-year-old for misdemeanor theft at 1:57 p.m. Friday at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave. The juvenile allegedly stole three Monster energy drinks.

Police cited Thalia Maria Madrigal, 18, for disorderly conduct and a 17 year old for disorderly conduct after a fight was reported at 9:32 p.m. Sunday at 720 Pillsbury Ave.

Thefts, damage reported

A report of a Cub Cadet riding lawn mower being taken was made at 5:20 p.m. Friday at 11473 755th Ave. in the Glenville area.

A sign in a yard was reported damaged at 9:49 a.m. Sunday at 929 Bridge Ave. Damage was estimated at approximately $500.

Identity theft was reported at 9:13 a.m. Friday in Freeborn County.

Possible theft by fraud was reported at 8:54 a.m. Friday at 1006 Dunham St.

A report of someone coming in the middle of the morning and taking Harley-Davidson keys, truck keys and tools was made at 5:51 p.m. Friday at 521 St. Peter Ave.

A report of someone being scammed out of money was made at 6:55 p.m. Friday at 1709 Sheridan St.

A $100 counterfeit bill was reported at 6:04 p.m. Saturday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St.
