Four injured in crash near New Richland

Four people were injured Wednesday in a rollover crash on Minnesota Highway 30 west of New Richland.

Dean Allen Thordor, 44, of Hayward, Allen Howard Kujak, 7, of Hayward, Victor Salinas, 36, of Austin and Bane Dustin Thordor, 1, of Hayward were hospitalized after the crash. Kujak was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Salinas was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato and Dean Thordor and Bane Thordor were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

Dean Thordor was reportedly driving a 2010 Ford pickup east on Highway 30 west of Minnesota Highway 83 when he swerved and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll at about 2:45 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Waseca County Sheriff’s Office, North Memorial and New Richland ambulance and fire crews assisted on scene.

All occupants of the truck were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the report states.
