Our Father’s House is hosting a fall conference featuring speakers from Rochester.
Rod and Connie Marquette from Destiny Church in Rochester will speak at the Sept. 22 conference.
According to an event flyer, since encountering God at a charismatic retreat at the age of 20, Rod Marquette has spent his life in pursuit of Christ. After working as an electrical engineer for 11 years, the Lord called Rod into full-time ministry. He served as an assistant pastor at a church in Minneapolis and in 1988 moved his family to Rochester to pastor Destiny Church, where he continues to serve as senior pastor. His life message is for all to encounter the extravagant love of Jesus, becoming intimately acquainted with the voice of God and be brought into a deep and intimate relationship with their creator. He is passionate about seeing the power of God demonstrated both in and out of the church.
Rod and Connie Marquette are the parents of three children and 13 grandchildren. They have passed down a legacy of a passionate pursuit of God to many.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 22. The morning session, “The Authority of the Believer,” begins at 10 a.m. After a noon break for lunch, the 1 p.m. afternoon session, “The Future of the Church,” will begin.
