Department of Human Services reports of children in need of protection were filed at 10:10 a.m. Thursday and 10:33 a.m. Thursday in Albert Lea. One report alleged there were children in a home and a sex offender from Iowa staying at the home on weekends. A second report involved a parent smoking methamphetamine with children in the home.
