1 arrested for domestic assault
Albert Lea police arrested Kassidy Jo Poole, 20, for domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at 1619 W. Main St.
Items taken, damage reported
Northwest-side windows were reported vandalized at 6:08 a.m. Monday at Hawthorne Elementary School, 1000 E. Hawthorne St.
A report of two golf carts and an ATV being taken from Albert Lea Tigers athletic property was filed at 8:43 a.m. Saturday at 2168 Hammer Road. Two golf carts were found.
A theft of a motorcycle was reported at 9:47 a.m. Saturday at 503 E. Eighth St.
A report of a Cadillac converter being taken from a Jeep was made at 4:19 p.m. Friday at 1428 Academy Ave.
An attempted break-in was reported at 7:07 a.m. Saturday at 114 N. St. Mary Ave. A front screen door was damaged. No suspects were reported.
A report of a Honda Civic being covered in salad dressing and mustard was filed at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at 335 E. Second St.
A house was reported broken into at 7:49 a.m. Sunday at 811 S. Third Ave. A car was stolen out of the garage, and other items were reported stolen.
Signs were reported stolen at 7:03 p.m. Sunday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
A report of an Hispanic male and Hispanic female taking items out of a storage unit was filed at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at 81027 Freeborn County Road 46 in the Hayward area.
7 cited for violations
Albert Lea police cited George Herbert Adams III, 28, for disorderly conduct and fifth-degree assault after a fight was reported at 1:07 a.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St. Adams was held on warrants from three counties.
Albert Lea police cited Jonathan Philip Anderson, 20, for underage drinking after a fight was reported at 6:53 p.m. Friday at 609 E. Main St.
Police cited a 17 year old for possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 7:18 p.m. Friday at the intersection of West Front Street and Madison Ave.
Police cited two juvenile males for misdemeanor theft and possessing e-cigarettes at 12:22 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
Police cited Misty Star Possehl, 37, for fleeing on foot after a suspicious person was reported at 8:40 p.m. Saturday at 206 W. College St. Possehl was served two warrants.
Police cited Oziel Valdez Jr., 45, for disorderly house after complaints of loud music were filed at 7:02 p.m. Saturday and 10:32 p.m. Saturday at 1906 S.E. Marshall St.
1 arrested for test refusal
Police arrested Pamela Anne Sorlie, 67, for third-degree test refusal after a careless driving complaint was filed at 8:02 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Clark Street and East Main Street.
3 arrested on warrants
Police arrested Edward Olmeda, 42, on a warrant at 11:21 p.m. Saturday at 810 Troy Road. Olmeda was transferred to Mower County. A stolen car was recovered.
Police arrested Derek Wayne Hacker, 36, on a local warrant at 8:36 p.m. Friday at 1433 Spartan Ave.
Police arrested Jennifer Lynn Christensen, 45, on a Dakota County warrant after a domestic incident was reported at 5:12 p.m. Sunday at 121 Elizabeth Ave.
